We’re featuring Sébastien Theys on our #ArtistsInAction series this week! 🎨
Sébastien Theys is an abstract artist whose work explores the interplay between structure and spontaneity, geometry and fluidity. His compositions are framed by white bands that act as portals into the abstract, challenging our boundaries of perception.
Drawing inspiration from cartoon aesthetics and the vibrancy of urban art, Sébastien infuses his works with a playful, almost whimsical energy. Layers of bold colour and dynamic shapes blur the lines between order and chaos, creating a unique visual language that reflects the essence of his creative vision

Our #ArtworkOfTheWeek series is back in full gear, and we`re kicking it off with the artist Lil Blanc 🩷
Lil Blanc is a Spanish artist born in 1993, who after leaving her career in architecture, has devoted herself entirely to painting, and bringing a spatial and sculptural vision into her work. In her pieces, she plays with the perception of space and light, integrating the use of epoxy resin, which gives them a glossy finish that invites interaction with the environment.
The soft gradations of colour in her canvases are reminiscent of a pink sky during a sunset, and her intention is to capture this ephemeral moment. The work is not only contemplated, but experienced, inviting a reflection on time, transience and space. Blanc manages to make her paintings transcend two-dimensionality and read more like sculptures than simple canvases, a characteristic that, in large part, stems from her architectural training.

Next up in our #WomenInArt series, we’re showcasing Golnaz Afraz!
Iranian artist Golnaz Afraz, now based near Strasbourg in France, is a painter and a storyteller, whose intention is to create a story and let the viewer draw their own conclusions. Her art centres women and their untold stories, often obscured by flowers or lost in thought - reflecting both personal and societal struggles.
Some of her recent work is also a direct response to the protests in Iran, paying tribute to the incredibily brave protesters who made, and continue to make, their voices heard.
