From 22 – 25 May 2025, Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong will be back in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition centre for its 12th Edition.

Born in Ireland and having spent half his life in Australia, Dónal Molly Drum’s sculptures serve as a profound emotional exploration of self and place. His work transforms elements from the natural world into abstract biomorphic structures that capture the fleeting essence of life.
Utilizing materials such as stainless steel, wood, and blown glass, he crafts intricate organic shapes that embrace both volume and space. His art delves into contrasts—light and dark, nature and humanity, strength and fragility—seeking harmony at their intersection. Through his sculptures, Dónal tells stories and unveils the scars of time, reflected in the forms and surface markings of his creations.

出生於愛爾蘭並在澳洲度過了半生，Dónal Molly Drum的雕像作品對自我和環境的深刻情感探索。他的作品由自然世界的元素轉變為生物形態結構，表達出生命轉瞬即逝的本質。

Next up in our #WomenInArt series, we’re showcasing Golnaz Afraz!
Iranian artist Golnaz Afraz, now based near Strasbourg in France, is a painter and a storyteller, whose intention is to create a story and let the viewer draw their own conclusions. Her art centres women and their untold stories, often obscured by flowers or lost in thought - reflecting both personal and societal struggles.
Some of her recent work is also a direct response to the protests in Iran, paying tribute to the incredibily brave protesters who made, and continue to make, their voices heard.

Coming from a diverse educational background in music and dance, she found her true calling working with the ever-changing medium of clay, with a goal to create art that inspires others to find the beauty in balance and imperfection.
Today, she runs Sync Studio, where she offers creative workshops to the public, and manages Syncollectives, a platform dedicated to showcasing outstanding ceramic artworks. Her commitment to fostering artistic expression and nurturing talent is a testament to her passion for giving back to the community, strengthening the local art ecosystem, and making creativity accessible to all!
