Meet Carol Caiger, Director and Owner of Caiger Art, based in the UK. Carol has made it her mission to help art lovers find the perfect artwork and has a wealth of experience bridging the gap between artist and buyer.
In the words of Picasso, ‘art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life’; a sentiment Carol wholeheartedly agrees with. As a big believer in the healing power of art, Carol has kindly shared with us what motivates her, why she thinks galleries are still important within the art world, while introducing us to @caigerart's roster of passionate artists.

1/6 To kick off the Affordable Online Art Fair we’re introducing a new series of #FridayFeatures where we’ll ask a different artist to take over our feed every Friday throughout the month-long digital edition. To make sure that we get things started with a bang, we’re thrilled to hand over the feed today to a master of lens-based photography, @richardheeps from @bleachboxphotographygallery.
Richard’s distinctive photographic style pushes the limits of film photography, experimenting with traditional printing techniques without the need for digital manipulation, from his Cambridge-based darkroom. Known for his cool, descriptive interiors, classic americana still life and landscape photography, his true love of his subject matter really shines through in his sophisticated, seductive and highly saturated photographic work. You can find all the works featured today and many more by Richard in the Affordable Online Art Fair until 3 May or simply tap the images as they appear in feed to shop direct.
Richard, along with photographer Natasha Heidler, founded Bleach Box Photography Gallery in 2007 with the aim to show powerful images created without digital editing. When the gallery took part in their first Affordable Art Fair at our Battersea Autumn event, they were the only dedicated photography gallery and from that success they’ve followed our fairs around the world opening up a new market of photography collectors! The gallery’s impressive roster of fine art photographers includes the likes of Samuel Field and Martin Parker so definitely give their gallery viewing room a visit today to be one of the first to snap up their limited edition photographic prints.
