Meet the debut galleries joining us at Affordable Art Fair Battersea, from 12-16 March ✨
This spring, we’re bringing together over 100 contemporary art galleries from across the UK and the globe. Among the highlights, 10 galleries will be making their debut, presenting an incredible variety of fresh, original artwork.
From cutting-edge London spaces to international talent from Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and beyond, these newcomers are set to impress in their first appearance!

Take a moment to lose yourself in this week’s #ArtworkOfTheWeek: ‘A Breath of Infinity’ by young Spanish artist Lil Blanc, represented by @alcontardelarte
After transitioning from architecture, Blanc now infuses her paintings with spatial and sculptural elements. Using epoxy resin, her work takes on a mirror-like quality, transforming light and space into an immersive experience. Her soft gradations of colour evoke sunset skies and fleeting moments of light, capturing their beauty in a lasting form. ☁️

With our Battersea Spring Fair fast approaching (12–16 March), we’re excited to bring back our #WorkInProgress series, kicking off with the incredible multidisciplinary painter, Yuliya Martynova (@y_martynova_ ), represented by @tomcoxgallery
Yuliya’s journey is as inspiring as her art. Born in Kazakhstan and now based in the UK for the past 20 years, she beautifully blends classical arts training with a contemporary touch. After spending 15 years in the corporate world as a lawyer, she took a leap of faith, transitioning to a full-time career as an artist.
Today, Yuliya’s serene and vibrant pieces are celebrated worldwide, showcased in prestigious art fairs, renowned London galleries, exclusive clubs, luxury hotels, and private collections.
Enjoy this satisfying glimpse into her creative process as she brings her canvas to life…✨

For our #ArtworkOfTheWeek, we’re stepping into the magical world of The White Witch by Jess Quinn, represented by Kittoe Contemporary. 🧙♀️✨
Bold colours and intricate patterns collide in this stunning work. Through her enchanting use of colour and symbolism, Jess weaves a story that’s as vibrant as it is thought-provoking. “I have no interest in a muted world,” she says - and The White Witch is a testament to that.

For our final #ArtworkOfTheWeek of 2024, we`re sharing Marie Robinson`s delightful `Bread and Butter Knife` 🍞✨
Perfect for the season of festive feasts, Robinson`s work reminds us to find joy in the everyday. Her still lifes put a contemporary spin on traditional subjects, and this piece playfully tricks the eye - what appears to be a giant butter knife is actually paired with a tiny loaf, making us look twice at these familiar objects.
A wonderful example of how art can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, just as we head into a new year 🎊
