Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam is the place to fall in love with hand-picked affordable art. Not only packed with 1000s of contemporary artworks, you can expect Art Walks, Art Talks, features for kids, and delicious refreshments in our bar and restaurant.
Taking place at the Kromthouthal in Amsterdam North, the fair ensures that contemporary art is accessible to both the novice and seasoned buyer. Browse paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures from local, regional and international galleries, all priced between €100 – €6,000, with most pieces under €3,000.

From Amsterdam Central station
The IJveer Ferry takes you to IJ-plein
From IJ-plein it is a short walk or bike ride along the Meeuwenlaan to the venue. Follow the Meeuwenlaan to the Dirk van/de Broek grocery store. Cross through the parking lot to the Motorkade, and follow this road towards the FoodMarkt. You’ll see the Kromhouthal to the left of the FoodMarkt.
Or alternatively hop on our free shuttle service from here to the venue.

From Azartplein
The Oostveer Ferry takes you to Zamenhofstraat.
From Zamenhofstraat, it’s a short walk or bike ride to the Kromhouthal. Walk towards the Meeuwenlaan along the Johan van Hasseltweg to Gedempt Hamerkanaal which is the 1st left. Then follow along the Gedempt Hamerkanaal to the Kromhouthal on your left.

The new Metro line will be running when the fair is on!
Take the Noord-Zuid line to stop Noorderpark. Go up the steps to the Johan van Hasseltweg. Turn towards the Ij and at the roundabout take the first road to the right. This is the Meeuwenlan. Take the left turn after PNDNRD and then the first right. This is the Gedempt Hamerkanaal.
Further detailed instructions will follow son (and our shuttle will also be stopping nearby).


Bus line 32, 33 or 38 (from stop Hamerstraat – 4 min walk)
Take bus 32, 33 or 38 from Amsterdam Central Station, and get off at the Hamerstraat stop.
Cross the Meeuwenlaan and walk towards the roundabout. Turn right at Pand Noord – this is the Hamerstraat. Follow this street to the petrol station on the left. Turn right onto Gedempt Hamerkanaal. The Kromhouthal is on the left across from nr 96.


From Amsterdam Centrum via IJ tunnelM
Take the first exit after the IJ Tunnel, and turn left at the traffic lights. At the roundabout take the second exit (straight). You are on the Johannes van Hasseltweg. Take the first turn on the right – this is the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the venue on the left hand side before the bend.

From the A10
Take exit S116 Centrum/Noord Nieuwendam. Follow the directions for Centrum/Noord 100 - 400 and then exit S118/Noord 300 - 349. At the traffic lights turn left. At the roundabout take the second exit (straight). You are on the Johannes van Hasseltweg. Take the first turn on the right – this is the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the venue on the left hand side before the bend.
Note! Paid parking near the venue will be available from July 1st 2018. There are several parking lots with favourable rates in the neighborhood.

*Concessionary tickets are available to over 60s, full time students, Museum and C-kaart holders. Please bring proof of concessionary status with you to the fair.

Yes, Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Are dogs allowed at the fair?

Yes, we are happy for small to mid-sized, well behaved dogs to join us.

Does the fair offer a free on-site wrapping service for purchased artworks?

Yes, we offer a free on-site wrapping service for all your purchased artworks.

Will there be anywhere to store baggage, coats etc at the fair?

Yes we have a cloakroom service to store your belongings before exploring the fair.

What are the delivery options for artworks purchased at thefair?

Our shipping partner can arrange this with you at the fair. He can be found wrapping your artworks. Also many local galleries offer delivery and will be happy to discuss this upon purchasing.

Do you have a café or restaurant on-site?

Yes, you can refresh and refuel at one of our many food & drink locations. Please note we try to be a pin-only event.

Do you have kids activities and facilities?

Yes, on Saturday and Sunday we provide a free creative workshop for children ages 5 and up. Kids up to 16 years of age have free entrance any day of the fair.
