Last weekend to see Mwinga Sinjela’s solo show with @sheerworldwide at the ChaShaMa location on 1155 6th Ave.!
Mwinga Sinjela is a Zambian painter based in New York. His work depicts heroic, gender-fluid Black figures in otherworldly Afro-futurist terrains. Drawing inspiration from the diverse cultural landscape of Zambia, as well as the dynamism of contemporary global culture, he creates new dimensions unbound from the constraints of the present and propelled by the infinite possibilities of the future. #nycart
