Does the fair offer free on-site wrapping service for purchased artworks?
Yes, we offer a free on-site wrapping service for all your purchased artworks.
What are the delivery options for artworks purchased at the fair?
Our shipping partner can arrange this with you at the fair. They can be found at the wrapping station. Also, many local galleries offer delivery and will be happy to discuss this upon purchasing.
Will there be anywhere to store baggage, coats etc at the fair?
Yes, a cloakroom is available at the entrance to the fair. The price is €2 per item.
Do you have a café or restaurant on-site?
Yes, you can refresh and refuel at one of our food & drink locations. Please note that card payments are preferred or sometimes the only option.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
Yes, we are happy for small to mid-sized, well behaved dogs to join us.
Will fair guides and maps be available?
Yes, there will be a printed fair guide and map available to pick up onsite.
What hygiene measures are you taking to make the fair safe?
We will be operating an enhanced cleaning schedule along with providing hand sanitizers for fair visitors.
If I feel unwell on the day my ticket is booked, what should I do?
Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
I saw a piece of art / an artist I liked at the fair, how can I find out who it / they were?
Fantastic! Please send us an email and send us as much detail as you can – if possible, describe the artwork colour, size, style (abstract, still life etc.), medium (painting, photograph, sculpture etc.), gallery name or the approximate location of the gallery. If you have a photo of the artwork please attach it to the email as this will speed up the process.
Does the fair check for CORONAVIRUS ENTRY PASS (COVIDTOEGANGSBEWIJS)?
Yes, visitors will be asked to scan their Covidtoegangsbewijs at the entrance of the fair and wear a wristband to indicate that they can be served in the seated horeca areas of the fair. Read more about it on our Safe Fair Page.
Will I be allowed to enter the fair without a CORONAVIRUS ENTRY PASS (COVIDTOEGANGSBEWIJS)?
Yes, however, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a wristband and legally are not permitted to serve you at the Main Bar and Restaurant, only from the to-go Bar. Read more about it on our Safe Fair Page.
What is a CORONAVIRUS ENTRY PASS (COVIDTOEGANGSBEWIJS)?
You can get a coronavirus entry pass if you are fully vaccinated, have a valid proof of recovery or a negative result from a coronavirus test taken less than 24 hours before entry. Everyone aged 13 and over will have to show a valid coronavirus entry pass and an ID card to gain admission. More info here.
How do timed arrival tickets work?
Due to the change in event protocol, it is no longer necessary to arrive at the fair during the arrival timeslot you have pre-booked. The ticket shop has also changed in the meantime and the time slots have been removed. You will be asked to show your ticket on arrival – either printed or on your phone, this will be scanned by our staff at the entry.
Do children under 16 need a ticket?
Children can enter the fair for free. You can book a free ticket for each child accompanying you.
Can I buy a concession ticket?
Yes, there are discounted tickets available. Concession tickets are available for over 65s and full time students. Please bring proof of concession status with you to the fair.
Is my ticket refundable?
No, unfortunately tickets to the fair are not refundable.
How can I retrieve lost tickets for Affordable Art Fair?
The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation; tickets are attached as a PDF file which you can print and bring to the fair or show on your smartphone.
I have a ticket to the 2020 Amsterdam fair which is valid for the 2021 fair, how do I get my timed ticket?
We have sent you an email in September which included a link to our ticket shop and your personal code to book your new ticket. If you cannot find this email in your inbox (please check your spam folder) then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
