Is Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam fully accessible?
Yes, Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. We also have a wheelchair available on site.
Does the fair offer free on-site wrapping service for purchased artworks?
Yes, we offer a free on-site wrapping service for all your purchased artworks, provided by our partner Wall to Wall Art Solutions.
You can also opt for sustainable, reusable packing provided by Biyomap at a cost.
What are the delivery options for artworks purchased at the fair?
Our partner Wall to Wall Art Solutions can arrange this with you at the fair. They can be found at the wrapping station. Also, many local galleries offer delivery and will be happy to discuss this upon purchasing.
Will there be anywhere to store baggage, coats etc at the fair?
Yes, a cloakroom is available at the entrance to the fair. The price is €2 per item.
Do you have a café or restaurant on-site?
Yes, you can refresh and refuel at one of our 3 bars. Also enjoy delicious food provided by Lowlander in Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant or at our Discovery Bar. Please note that card payments are preferred or sometimes the only option.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
Yes, we are happy for small to mid-sized, well behaved dogs to join us.
What are the best ways to get the fair?
Ferries:
– IJpleinveer ferry from the backside of the Amsterdam Centraal station to het IJplein
– Oostveer ferry from Azartplein to de Zamenhofstraat
Metro: take metro 52 (the Noord-Zuid line) and stop at Nooderpark
Bus: Nearest bus stops are Havikslaan or Hamerstraat
Car: Paid parking locations near the venue

Will fair guides and maps be available?
Yes, there will be a printed fair guide and map available to pick up onsite.
I saw a piece of art / an artist I liked at the fair, how can I find out who it / they were?
Fantastic! Please send us an email and send us as much detail as you can – if possible, describe the artwork colour, size, style (abstract, still life etc.), medium (painting, photograph, sculpture etc.), gallery name or the approximate location of the gallery. If you have a photo of the artwork please attach it to the email as this will speed up the process.
Will I be photographed or filmed during my visit?
Photography or filming takes place at all Affordable Art Fair events. It is common practice and helps us to inspire future visitors to discover the joy of collecting art. For more information on our Photography and Filming policy, click here.

What are the opening hours?
Wednesday October 8, Vernissage, 17:00 – 22:00
Thursday October 9, 14:00 – 21:00
Friday October 10, 12:00 – 21:00
Saturday October 11, 10:00 – 19:00
Sunday October 12, 10:00 – 18:00
When is a quieter time to visit the fair?
Thursday and Friday afternoon tend to be quieter times with less visitors. Read our guide to help you find the perfect time to visit based on your preferences.
Do children under 16 need a ticket?
Children can enter the fair for free. You can book a free ticket for each child accompanying you.
Can I buy a concession ticket?
Yes, there are discounted tickets available. Concession tickets are available for full time students. Please bring proof of concession status with you to the fair.
Is my ticket refundable?
No, unfortunately tickets to the fair are not refundable.
Can I change my ticket from weekday to weekend?
Yes, you can, if you pay the additional supplement. Follow the steps below:
1. Visit the customer service portal and fill out your e-mail address and booking number (9-digit code found in the confirmation email sent to you by See Tickets)
2. You’ll automatically receive an email with your booking details (please note: replies to this email are not monitored).
4. Click ‘View Order Details’ in the email, then select ‘Change Your Tickets’.
5. Pay the difference, and your weekend tickets will be sent to you by email.
Can I change my ticket from weekend to weekday?
No, it is not needed. You will be granted acces on weekdays with your weekend ticket as well. However, we can’t refund the difference.
Is it possible to book a group-package and/or guided tour?
Yes, we offer hospitality-packages at different prices.
How can I retrieve lost tickets for Affordable Art Fair?
Search your inbox for an email from “See Tickets” with a PDF attachment – don’t forget to check your junk folder. To contact customer services or resend a mislaid ticket please click here. You can print your ticket and bring it to the fair or show it on your smartphone.
