This year’s fair features more exhibitors than ever in Stockholm. Our Stockholm Fair Director, Carl Wilhelm Hirsch, has picked out his newest favourite galleries for you to discover.
“There’s a lot of newness to discover at our spring fair, not least the galleries exhibiting with us for the first time. With such a vast selection to choose from it was difficult for me to select just three from our 10th fair edition. The diversity of pieces exhibited is unprecedented!
One of the first time exhibitors here in Stockholm, Pigment Gallery, is exhibiting artist Juan Escudero. I am very curious about his wonderful drawings and engravings, and can’t wait to see his pieces in person.
Marcel Camps will also be exhibiting for the first time. His work expresses the experiences and feelings that arise as a reflection of human relationships with his environment. So, his work wants to relate the man and his body with the universe; an implementation beyond the borders of reality by moving into the sphere of transcendence.
Another first-time exhibitor is Mankovsky Gallery, who will exhibit several artists that are new to the Stockholm scene which promises to be sensational. Their exciting artist roster features amongst others Honorroller and Anna Vinterfall Labero and many more.”
Discover emerging artists such as the digital paintings of William Reed, and other amazing upcoming artists you should keep an eye on!
“The Recent Graduate exhibitions have always been a key project from the Affordable Art Fair Stockholm. After 10 years, it has even become a tradition that each year I am super excited to discover and keeps surprising me by the high quality – I love it!“
Julie Constant, Regional Managing Director, Affordable Art Fair Europe
