In May 2022, the Belgian coast town of Ostend received an exciting addition to its widely appreciated artistic heritage with the opening of Oever Gallery, in the Oosteroever neighbourhood. This is where collectors Sara Van Wesemael and Wouter Sleeckx share their passion for contemporary art in a welcoming and modern gallery space designed by 5AM design studio, which allows visitors to enjoy a large variety of artworks with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
For their debut with us at Affordable Art Fair Brussels, they will be showing works by Vanessa Van Meerhaege, Bas Pattyn, Cathy Tabbakh and Anne-Will Lufting.
Joining us from across the Atlantic, ARTCODE is, in the words of it’s founder Maria del Mar García ‘a creative hub with a strong futuristic keenness, constantly exploring the fusion of art, science, and technology.’ The gallery operates out of New York City and Mérida in Mexico but also share their rich selection of contemporary art with audiences at fairs in London and now Brussels.

Milan-based gallery Winarts Arte began as an idea when friends Benedetta Crippa and Martina Moglia were discussing their shared passion for contemporary art during a summer holiday in Greece. They then decided to create Winarts Arte, where they provide a platform for young graduates and emerging artists. Benedetta and Martina are firm believers in the importance of nurturing talent from early in the artistic journey. In their own words, Winarts Arte’s goal is ‘to bring art closer to people’s desire.’
They’ll be sharing exciting new works by Golsa Golchini, Theophilus Tetteh and Alessandro Gerull. The perfect place to find up-and-coming artists expressing fresh ideas!
GLO’ART was founded with the philanthropic aim of providing a career launchpad for artists from all over the world. Located in Neerharen-Lanaken on the Belgian border, the GLO’ART team receive and review artists’ portfolios from across the globe and invite the very best to 1 month residencies at their art centre and gallery space. Since 2013, more than three hundred artists from more than sixty countries have enjoyed a stay at GLO’ART!
At their stand this February, you’ll be able to find works by a talented international roster of artists including, Stephan Doru Moscu, Carlo Alberto Rasteli, Mario Romoda and Kaitlynn Copithorne.
Having gained valuable experience as a gallery director at the Galerie Rue de Seine in Paris, the long-time art enthusiast Cyril Guernieri opened his own gallery in 2018, in the heart of the French capital’s Saint-Germain-des Prés quarter. A strong advocate of the compelling power of aesthetics, Cyril offers a carefully curated collection of artworks in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where visitors are invited to experience art as well as participate in friendly discussions with the gallery owner.
For their first Brussels fair, Galerie Cyril Guernieri will be showcasing artworks by Christian Benoist, Christophe Abadie, Jean-Daniel Bouvard and Jose Luis Cena, among others.
After years in roles as a lawyer, Secretary General and CFO of a private equity investment funds company, Anne Bateson, decided to pivot her career towards one of her main interests, discovering and collecting contemporary art. She founded ACHILLEA Gallery which makes a reference to the Achillea plant, its healing properties being a direct inspiration for Anne and her gallery to convey a sense of regeneration through art.
Inviting visitors to discover the works of their artists in their Paris showroom as well at a gallery space in Paros (GR) during the summers, Achillea Gallery will now participate at Affordable Art Fair Brussels for the first time this February and will bring artworks by Linet Sanchez Gutierrez, Jan Mulder and Arièle Rozowy.
Galerie 22 originally opened their doors in 2007 in Luberon, situated in the heart of the Provence region in Southern France. Jane Dreyer founded this contemporary art gallery and Bernard Mourier joined her in 2012 to form an exciting duo with a keen eye for works by established as well emerging artists. The gallery switched to digital back in 2019, but it still participates in various art fairs and exhibitions.
At the fair they will be presenting artworks by Tidru, Pierre Ribà, Julien Allègre, Philippe Croq and Jean-Louis Bessède.
