Toyol Gallery was founded in Hong Kong in 2019 with the mission to champion artists from the New Contemporary Art Movement—a burgeoning and electrifying movement that centres the social and embraces wide-ranging disciplines such as Contemporary Pop, Post-Graffiti, and various Futurisms. Initially promoting established and mid-career artists to collectors across the Asian region and beyond, Toyol also collaborated with fellow galleries in Hong Kong to provide the Movement with a larger public presence. Seeking to expands its vision and scope, Toyol Gallery will participate in international events to facilitate the growth of its resident artists and to create otherwise inaccesible space for rising talent in the New Contemporary Art Movement.
