OWL

OWL Gallery, an independent, artist-run space in Frome, Somerset, UK, was established around 2011 on historic Catherine Hill. Its mission is to showcase high-quality, original artwork and crafts by a small collective of local artists, fostering a creative hub that connects makers with the community.

The gallery represents a diverse group of contemporary artists—such as Annemarie Blake (etching, painting) and Tess Chodan (entomological art)—and features guest artists from beyond Frome such as Olivia Clifton Bligh (sculptor, printmaker) and Cat Croxford (landscape painter). It focuses on a range of styles and mediums, including painting, printmaking, ceramics, glass, sculpture, and porcelain, emphasising skillful craftsmanship.

Over the past decade, OWL has grown into a beloved fixture in Frome’s vibrant art scene, blending local talent with a welcoming, creative atmosphere.
