Monogramma arte contemporanea

monogramma is located in via margutta, the famous artists’ street a few steps away from piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo in Rome. The gallery has always supported the work of Italian artists by presenting them to the international public, while at the same time maintaining a fertile dialogue with national and international museum institutions, also promoting relations between galleries, critics, curators and collectors. In November 1976, a space for art was born in Reggio Calabria.

It grew rapidly and became an artistic forge of initiatives, ideas and proposals. In November 1996, this twenty-year experience, matured in between reality and illusion, moved to Rome by starting its first meeting with “”Exempla””. For several years now, monogramma has aimed at the international market, presenting its artists at the fairs and the galleries of Milan, New York, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Stockolm,Tokyo and London. Even the Italian cultural institutes abroad in London, Malta and Miami, have hosted exhibitions curated by monogramma, who have always wanted to internationalize their artists. monogramma, owner of the “”via margutta”” brand, also wants to bring the historic via dell’arte back into the limelight, through some cultural initiatives on the street: the margutta prize and ModArt, within which it shows contemporary art through art performances
