Located in Burleigh Heads, on the land of the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region, Mint Art House is the Gold Coast’s freshest artist-run gallery and studio space. Home to 14 talented established and emerging artists, ranging from painters to sculptors, muralists to ceramicists, Mint is a collaborative space that hosts a regular program of exhibitions, artist talks and workshops. Our resident artists have won and been finalists in national awards, including Swell Sculpture Festival, Marymount Art Prize, National Emerging Artist Prize, Art Gallery of NSW Belle Art Prize, Border Art Prize, Darcy Doyle Art Award, Gold Coast Art Award. Individually and collectively, they have been commissioned to create artworks by Bleach Festival, Placemakers, City of Gold Coast, HOTA Home of the Arts, Artlovers Australia, Gold Coast Music Awards, and have had artwork acquired by the likes of Baz Lurhmann and Channel 9’s The Block.
