Ad Lib Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery nestled in the heart of Wimbledon Village, just a few doors away from The Ivy Café. The gallery was opened by Dylan Roberts in October 2019 at a large gallery space in Parsons Green, and was relocated to Wimbledon Village in December 2020.
The gallery exhibits and sells contemporary original art, sculpture and limited edition prints by emerging and established artists from the UK and Europe. Some of the artists are from Bedales School which is well known for art, drama and music, and was attended by Dylan over 25 years ago.
Over the last few years Ad Lib Gallery has exhibited and/or sold works by: David Hockney, Tracey Emin, Bridget Riley, Damien Hirst, Goldie, Chris Levine, Mr Brainwash, The Connor Brothers, Bob Dylan, Nasser Azam, Ben Eine, LUAP, Ru Knox, Harry Bunce, Charming Baker, Ewan David Eason, Ian Rayer-Smith, Carolina Piteira, Mark Evans, James Mylne, Iryna Yermolova, Katharine Le Hardy, Mary West, Dan Cook, Hannah Ivory Baker, James Decent, Nay Bellamy, amongst many others.
The gallery also provides an Art Advisory service, helping to source art for your home or commercial property. Whether you’re after a single show-stopping artwork, or a collection for a number of spaces in your property, the team at Ad Lib Gallery would be delighted to help. Working with their favourite established and emerging artists from all over the UK and from overseas, they can source and suggest to clients a broad selection of artwork from large scale paintings to intricate works on paper and limited-edition prints. The gallery can also assist with framing, shipping, and professional installation.
