When is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit depends on your what kind of fair experience you’re after. If you’d prefer to enjoy the fair without the crowds, head to our weekday afternoons (Thursday and Friday), as this is the quietest time of the fair. Our Art After Dark Late events are a great time to visit if you enjoy a bit of a buzz, and the chance to take in great art with friends, live DJs, welcome drinks and more! Weekends are popular with visitors, and so can be quite busy. If visiting on the weekend, make sure to give yourself enough time to see everything, as it can take a bit longer.

To book on our ticket shop:
○ Choose the date and time to suit you when purchasing your ticket and follow the steps to complete your booking.
○ You should receive an email with your ticket confirmation from SEE Tickets. If you do not receive this, please contact the customer service team here.
○ Arrive at the fair during your chosen timeslot (e.g. anytime between 2pm and 3pm), and show your ticket on arrival (on your phone is fine). This will be scanned by our team for you to enter.
○ That’s it – enjoy the fair – and stay as long as you like (until closing, of course).
How far in advance do I need to buy tickets?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your visit. Tickets booked online in advance will be cheaper than on the door.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
Yes, we are happy for well-behaved dogs on leads to come along and enjoy the artwork! However, please note weekends can be particularly busy and some dogs may find the environment stressful. Please be mindful of other visitors and of course, our lovely artworks!
Do children under 16 need a ticket?
Yes, children 16 and younger need a ticket to enter – please book this in advance. Children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
What activities do you have for children?
During Family Hour (Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 12pm) there will be face painting, scavenger hunts and creative activities for children of all ages to enjoy.
Also during family hour, kids aged 7 – 12 can enjoy The Little Grand Tour; a 45 minute fun-filled tour of the fair led by art history wizards, introducing children to the wonder of art and popular artist techniques. Tickets for the tour are £20 per child and must be booked online in advance in addition to a Family Hour ticket (11am – 12pm). Simply book for the Family Hour (either Saturday or Sunday) and add ‘The Little Grand Tour’ as an add-on when prompted.
Do you offer concession tickets?

Please bring proof of concessionary status with you to the fair. We also offer Access tickets for visitors with accessibility needs, along with a free carer/companion ticket.
Can I buy a ticket in person on the day?

Will my ticket allow me to visit the fair again?
All visitors are welcome to return, but you’ll need to book a complimentary return visit – follow the instructions on our exit signage to do so. If you’re not sure where to find this, please come and chat to our team at the info desk.
Do you offer exchanges or refunds?
Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, at our discretion, we may be able to exchange your ticket for an alternative date and time, providing we have availability. We are not able to exchange tickets for past dates or time slots so please give us plenty of notice. Please contact ticketing customer service with your query.
My plans have changed and I no longer need my complimentary ticket. What should I do?
If you have been offered a complimentary ticket and can no longer attend, please contact ticketing customer service who can release the ticket for someone else to enjoy.
Once I leave the fair, can I re-enter at another time / day?
See above, ‘Will my ticket allow me to visit the fair again?’
