Why do I need to book a timed ticket?
Timed tickets allow us to monitor the number of people in the fair and offer a safe, socially distanced experience for visitors.
How do timed tickets work?
○ Choose the date and time to suit you when purchasing your ticket.
○ You can arrive anytime during the 1 hour time slot shown on your ticket. This time slot only limits your arrival time, not the duration of your visit to the fair.
○ Show your ticket on arrival – either printed or on your phone, this will be scanned by our staff at the entrance.
How far in advance do I need to buy tickets?
With limited capacity, in order to secure the date / time you want, we suggest you book your tickets as soon as possible.
Do children under 16 need a ticket?
Children 16 and younger go free to the Fair, but they will need a ticket to enter, and must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Can I buy a timed concession ticket?
Yes, there are discounted tickets available. Concessionary tickets are available for over 60s, full time students, and those in receipt of jobseekers allowance or income support. Please bring proof of concessionary status with you to the fair.
Can I buy a ticket in person on the day?
All tickets must be purchased online. If you do not have a valid ticket with you upon arrival, you may not be able to enter the fair. You will be able to check availability and book on a mobile device on the chosen day of your visit, providing there is availability.
Will my ticket allow me to re-enter the fair?
Unfortunately, this will not be possible due to the need to manage event capacity. To re-enter the fair safely, you will need to purchase a new timed entry ticket.
Can I change my ticket date or time after purchasing it?
See below, ‘Can I get a refund on my ticket?’.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, at our discretion, we may be able to exchange some tickets for alternative dates and times, providing we have availability. We are not able to exchange tickets which are valid for past dates or time slots.
My plans have changed and I no longer need my free ticket. What should I do?
Please cancel your ticket or let us know if you cannot attend, so that we can make your space available for someone else.
The time slot I want is sold out; do you have a waiting list?
While we would love to accommodate everyone’s ideal date and time, we are not able to offer a waiting list.
Once I leave the fair, can I re-enter another time / day?
See above, ‘Will my ticket allow me to re-enter the fair?’.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
To keep our visitors, staff and exhibitors safe, on arrival we will be asking everyone to consider the following questions before entering the fair. Within the last 14 days:
○ Have you had cause to believe you have COVID-19?
○ Have you experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 such as a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste?
○ Have you been in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 or anyone who has been showing symptoms?
○ Have you travelled from or been in close contact with anyone who has travelled from any of the UK’s ‘red list’ countries?
○ Have you not adhered to government guidelines and social distancing when not at work?
○ Have you been contacted by the NHS Track and Trace system and asked to self-isolate?
Please consider these questions before arrival as should the answer to any of these be ‘Yes’, we will kindly ask you not to enter the fair.
What social distancing and hygiene measures are you taking to make the fair safe?
Our Safe Fair Policy includes a limited capacity fair with longer hours. Entry to the fair is only permissible if you have a timed ticket. To reduce contact points, all payments will be taken by card only. We will be operating an enhanced cleaning schedule along with providing hand sanitizer and face masks for fair visitors.
Will I need to wear a face mask?
Face coverings for staff, exhibitors and visitors are optional but recommended.
What measures are you taking to ensure your staff and galleries are kept safe?
To help keep everyone attending the fair safe, we’re following protocols laid out by the UK Government. From use of the NHS Track and Trace app and sanitizing of hands as you arrive, to providing hand-sanitizer, increased cleaning of the toilets and other high use areas; you can feel confident about visiting the fair. Our monitored capacity, timed entry and widened aisles will enable social distancing at 1 meter+ and only cashless payments will be accepted by galleries and vendors to minimise contact.
If I feel unwell on the day my ticket is booked, what should I do?
Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
