We’re excited to welcome Daniel Crawshaw, a brand new artist at this year’s Affordable Art Fair Battersea, 16 - 20 October!
Daniel’s stunning work captures the beauty and drama of nature, inspired by solo adventures in Snowdonia, the Pyrenees, and the Blue Mountains. His ‘Cloudwatching’ series, born during lockdown, reflects his shift in focus from mountains to the ever-changing sky. While his pieces may seem photo-realistic at first, a closer look reveals their painterly, abstract qualities.
As autumn settles over London, this piece, ‘VII,’ feels especially fitting… 🍂

Based in Dorset, Ellie has spent the past seven years working in the woods and forests of Southern England, creating images that explore the deep, complex bond between people and the natural world. Through her dreamlike landscapes, she invites us to explore the delicate line between reality and fantasy, encouraging us to pause and reconsider our connection to nature. Are we seeing the landscape as it truly is, or through the lens of our cultural heritage and personal experiences?

Stripe up your life with our #artworkoftheweek, ‘Remember the 90’s` by Tarien Bruwer, represented by Aity Gallery.
Bruwer explores the endless possibilities of weaving, drawing inspiration from the women who came before her. Her bold, graphic style weaves an autobiographical story shaped by a love for threads, yarn, and textiles passed down from her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Since childhood, Bruwer has used her art to process thoughts and emotions, turning feelings into something tangible. She hopes to inspire women to embrace traditional handwork as tools for healing, empowerment, and joy, encouraging us all to pause, ground ourselves, and honour our roots in a fast-paced world. 💗
