PANEL DISCUSSION: ART ADVISORS & ARTS INITIATIVES WITHIN AUSTIN
Friday, May 17 | 1pm – 2pm
Join Jill McLennon of McLennon Pen Co. Gallery in a discussion with several leading art advisors about their initiatives within Austin to further develop the local art scene. Penny Aaron will describe her curation of the art collection within The Loren hotel and the transformation of the Paggi House into an exhibition space. Nick Campbell will discuss his membership club, Campbell Art Collective, and recently becoming an Arts Contributor to Austin Home Magazine. Keli Hogsett will converse about CoCollect and building a company that makes it easy to dip your toes into collecting by first loaning museum-quality artwork. Amanda Kadinov will delve into how collectors can grow into public patrons of the arts and the programming she organized at Soho House, IdeaLab: Awakening the visual arts in Austin.
PANEL DISCUSSION: LATINX ART AND IT’S IMPORTANCE TO OUR COMMUNITY’S PROGRESSION IN SOCIAL AWARENESS
