The inspiration

‘Man and Dog’ is a small, intimate etching by Tim Southall. Here we see a man and his dog looking out to sea, a contemplative piece which conveys the close bond between the two characters.

This print is an etching and aquatint drawn on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, an off-white heavyweight 300 gsm handmade paper from St Cuthbert’s Mill in Somerset.

It is signed and numbered by the artist. Image size is 10cm x 15cm, image size 20cm x 25cm.
