About Julia Everett

About the artwork

“The Magic of a Blackened Night” is an abstract landscape oil painting 60 x 100cm (23.5 x 39.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inches) deep canvas. Painted after a road trip in County Clare, Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way and spending time on the beach at Lahinch watching the last light fade after the sunset. The title is from the song “Sands of Time” by Fleetwood Mac.

It's painted in black, white and metallic green oil paint. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts. The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.

(Please note the in situ images are not to scale but hopefully, they give a good idea of how the painting will look in a modern interior.)
