Discover the seven artists we're highlighting in our Young Talent showcase at Affordable Art Fair Sydney this November.
Affordable Art Fair Sydney returns from 6-9 November in the exciting new venue of Carriageworks. We’re excited to shine a spotlight on the freshest talent, with a hand-picked line-up of emerging artists who are ready to make their mark.
This year’s Discover: Young Talent platform introduces seven inspiring young creatives, each bringing bold, innovative work that art lovers won’t want to miss. It’s your chance to be ahead of the curve, discover future stars, and support the next generation of artists.
Let’s meet the artists, explore their practices, and get a sneak peek of their incredible work.
Felixe Rives is an emerging artist living on unceded Bidjigal and Gadigal land. After immigrating from France to Australia as a child, Felixe turned to art as a way to explore and process feelings of isolation and disconnection from her homeland. She paints intimate portraits of domestic settings, using precise brushstrokes to encapsulate the fine textures of the home that we would otherwise miss.
Felixe enjoys mixing unique mediums to create their work, such as Perspex, a material that creates a reflective glaze on the surface of her art. This blurs the distance between the artwork and the audience, inviting us to reflect on our presence in the spaces we inhabit. Don’t miss the opportunity to view Felixe’s artworks up close at our upcoming Sydney Fair.

Bridget Kelly is a Sydney-based abstract artist with a chromosome to spare. Working primarily with vibrant Posca pens on paper and wood, Bridget has transformed art-making into a powerful means of communication. Mostly non-verbal, she uses her practice to express herself and connect with the world around her.
For Bridget, being an artist is pure joy. Art making is something that makes her happy and she loves when it brings happiness to others, too. Bridget’s use of bold colours and dynamic shapes transform everyday objects into something magical. They give us a peek into the playful, abstract way she sees the world – inviting us all along for the ride. We are thrilled to show off Bridget’s joyous work, nestled against the industrial walls of Carriageworks.

Sydney-based artist Sarah weaves thousands of tiny glass beads on hand wooden looms, creating delicate works that shimmer with every shift of light. Inspired by space and the metaphysical, her beaded artworks are threaded one by one in a deeply meditative process, offering an intimate, alternative view of the landscapes we inhabit.
The result? Contemporary pieces that are as personal as they are mesmerising – perfect for any art lover’s home.

Hailing from Sydney, Elle is a self-taught artist who creates raw, poignant works that navigate the complexities of identity. Using bright, saturated colours and bold, exaggerated forms, she creates theatrical work that distorts and embraces the human body. Her work is deeply vulnerable, inviting viewers to confront their insecurities and seek radical self-acceptance. We are thrilled to spotlight Elle’s bold, boundary-pushing work at our Discover: Young Talent showcase.

At just 18 years old, Izzi’s artistic career is already off to a flying start! Izzi creates hyper-realistic artworks that encapsulate memories of her childhood, spent surrounded by the ocean and the Northern Rivers. Izzi’s work captures the colours, emotions and sensations we feel as we engage and connect with the environment we live in.
Her work is a celebration of both the Australian landscape and humanity more broadly, reminding us to connect and remain present in this ever-changing world we live in. Her captivating work is the perfect addition to any nature-lover’s walls.

Keegan is a self-taught Aboriginal artist and proud Kamilaroi man, creating work out of his loft apartment in Surry Hills on Gadigal Country. His practice is inspired by memories of childhood spent out Bush, weaving shape and movement into works that pay tribute to Country – its lines, people, and landscapes.
Movement, a vital element of Aboriginal culture, is central to Keegan’s art, which he describes as emotional, raw, and deeply healing as he embraces and celebrates his cultural identity.
The Sydney fair is your opportunity to connect firsthand with Keegan’s powerful works and the stories of Country they carry.

Northern Beaches artist Louis Wayling creates work that curiously details the world around us. Using various mediums and techniques, from vibrant brushstrokes to delicate line work, Louis’ works are a testament to the transformative power of introspection, reflecting on his life journey through themes of physicality, sexuality, landscape and connection.
Louis work is an invitation to remain present in the ever-changing world we live in. We are so thrilled to be showing Louis’ work for a second year. Don’t miss out as it will fly off the walls.

That wraps up our rundown of the talented young artists exhibiting at Affordable Art Fair Sydney this year. Don’t forget to snap up a ticket and join us from 6-9 November 2025 at Carriageworks.
