Our story began with a gallery in Prahran, Melbourne, with our stable of mainly Melbourne and Victorian emerging artists with a curated program of exhibitions. During Covid, we made the difficult decision to close our gallery and became Vernissage Art Online with artists joining us from across Australia and worldwide. Since then, our focus has shifted from art-sales to assistance for artists. We have spent years supporting artists in a myriad of different ways, and today Vernissage Art seeks out opportunities for artists to make industry connections, career elevation and practice visibility. Our represented artists are showcased in publications, art fairs and gallery pop ups.
