Colour has always played a main role in my life, whether I worked as a stylist, decorator or artist. I became interested in colours and their meaning early on, and when I wanted to specialize as an interior designer, colour psychology became my natural choice. After my 3-year interior design education in Barcelona, I have worked and studied colour in various ways since 2008.
I mainly work with colouring for private individuals. Some of my more public projects can be seen in Room 809, Scandic Anglais, Bo- och Samhällsexpo in Vallastaden, Rockfon’s new colour collection as well as my art exhibitions Color Emotions which have taken place at Tändstickspalatset, Hallwylska Museum & Dunkers culture house. I love to spread my colour theory and teach interior design and architecture students based on how colour can affect our well-being, and mental health and create a positive change.
I am interested in how colour and design can bring us together as individuals, how it can make us more open and aware, how it can encourage us to continue to be curious, make us grow and encourage generosity and trust. Design and colour can affect how we behave and feel. It can change the way we do things and the way we look at things. That colour affects us physically, emotionally and spiritually and inspires me to want to explore the area constantly.
