Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors

The Melbourne Society of Women Painters & Sculptors Incorporated (MSWPS) was established in March 1902 by former students of the National Gallery of Victoria Art School to support the development of Melbourne women artists and foster lasting friendships. Over the years, they have welcomed a diverse group of women artists, including painters, sculptors, printmakers, craft workers, commercial artists, and designers.
