Galerie Schimming

Founded in 2003, Galerie Schimming is dedicated to modern contemporary art and maintains close contact with up-and-coming and established German and international artists. In addition to regular exhibitions of established artists, the gallery opens its doors to promising young talents once or twice a year. Several young artists have already been successfully launched through these ‘Young Art’ exhibitions.

The gallery’s programme focuses on different positions in the field of contemporary painting, from the New Leipzig School to Pop Art. The gallery advises on the purchase of artworks and the development of collections.
