Galerie Mokum

Founded in the early 1960s, Galerie Mokum has since been a critical site for the viewing of Dutch realist artworks; a genre of art they specialise in. As perhaps the most identifiable venue for contemporary artists working in this style today, in recent years they have expanded to included international artists who pay homage to Dutch realism in their work, satisfying the demand of art buyers who love realist artworks. They represent over thirty artists. The broad scope in which these artists define themselves can vary between mediums; whether that’s still life, portraiture or expressionism.
