Passionate about what they do, Darl.e and the Bear is an artist-led gallery, founded by artist and designer Julie Wigg in 2019 with two galleries in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Having spent the last five years steadily growing their reputation, with an extensive programme of curated exhibitions in Woodstock and London, they have changed the gallery format showing the gallery artists and a wide variety of invited artists, online and at carefully selected Art Fairs and exhibition spaces across the UK.
They believe strongly in supporting the future and show carefully selected work by emerging and contemporary artists who forge their own pathways, producing artworks which are thought-provoking, heartfelt and innovative.
Darl.e and the Bear is an unofficial not-for-profit artist-led gallery, with a strong set of values that guide and inspire them – inclusivity, accessibility, welcoming, passionate and above all they are very proud of who they show. They also support a selected group of charities.
