Chrysalis Art was founded in 2023 to showcase a vibrant collective of emerging contemporary British artists who explore atmosphere and materiality, to create works with long lasting, emotional connections.

Laura Dunmow captures the essence of her love for travel with expansive landscapes, crafting luminous land and seascapes in richly layered oils that summon vast skies and the fleeting beauty of seasonal light.

In contrast, Heather Miller draws inspiration from her daily experiences in the Hertfordshire countryside, skilfully depicting shifts of light and colour to evoke tranquillity and introspection in her serene landscapes.

Meanwhile, Dan Holden ventures into abstraction, focusing on texture and tactility, employing diverse interruptions in his creative process, and melding layered oil paint with rough board surfaces to create pieces that are both striking and thought provoking.
