After a hugely successful first edition in May 2024, Affordable Art Fair will be returning to Brisbane in 2025! Join us in May at the Brisbane Showgrounds Exhibition Building in Bowen Hills. With an exciting art scene in Brisbane and beyond, the fair will be showcasing galleries from Queensland and across Australia with a mixture of emerging and established artists. Whether you’re a lover of landscapes, smitten with sculpture or an adorer of abstracts, we’re sure you’ll find something to suit your taste, space and spend!

SPOTLIGHT ON FIRST NATIONS ART
Nathan Rogers-Falk is a proud Wiradjuri, Ngemba man, deeply rooted in his cultural heritage and based on Bundjalung Country. His artistic journey is a vibrant expression of his connection to land, culture, and community. Nathan explores a diverse range of mediums, showcasing his creativity through painting, the intricate art of burning designs on kangaroo skins, and crafting traditional artefacts.
Nathan is not only an artist but also a dedicated community member. As the owner of Wollumbin Dreaming, he actively contributes to promoting First Nations arts and culture within his local community. He participates in cultural dance programs with the Kids Caring for Country group, engaging young people in learning the importance of their heritage and connection to the land. As a mentor, Nathan takes pride in guiding jarjums and , sharing his skills and knowledge to help them pursue their cultural dreams and strengthen their identities.
