VERNISSAGE
Opening Night ticket holders will be among the first to experience the fair, kicking off the celebrations in style. Enjoy a free glass of bubbles, listen to creative panel talks, and meet the artists. This event is perfect for passionate art enthusiasts and after-work crowds who love to blend art with socialising.

Celebrate art and music at our Art@Sunset Party on Friday! Together with Superfly and DJ Apua, a Vienna-based DJ known for his deep house and technos sounds set, we’re hosting an evening full of art and music.

Opening Night ticket holders are invited to indulge in a glass of Roku Gin. In Japanese, Roku stands for the number six. Each bottle of Roku Gin contains six very special Japanese botanicals. Eisbazar
Eisbazar brings a taste of the East to the fairgrounds. Known for their unique ice cream creations at Vienna’s Brunnenmarkt, they serve traditional Persian saffron ice cream with rosewater and pistachios, alongside bold flavors like yogurt with caramelized figs or tahini with sesame and a touch of baklava.

The Batz Collection
The Batz Collection offers art advisory with a focus on street art and emerging voices. Founded by Katrin-Sophie Batz, long-time curator and initiator of Cash, Cans & Candy, the collection draws on years of experience in the contemporary art world. At the fair, she shares insights and helps visitors discover works that reflect their personal stories – with a passion for making collecting accessible and inspiring.

Beate von Harten, Atelier für Textildesign
Textilatelier Beate von Harten has specialized in the restoration and conservation of valuable textiles since 1984 – including tapestries, carpets, kilims, and embroidery.
Each project deepens the knowledge of textile history, inspiring the creation of new, custom-made pieces – crafted in the heart of Vienna, fairly and sustainable.

LEAP artprints
LEAP is a Vienna-based artist project founded by Andreas Nader and Sebi Schager, dedicated to producing high-quality, hand-crafted print editions. Since 2013, they have collaborated with over 200 international artists, exploring the creative possibilities of printmaking. Catch them live at the Art & Fun Studio!

Gilbert Bretterbauer
Gilbert Bretterbauer is an artist and designer based between Vienna, Japan, and the US. He is known for vibrant art carpets, sculptural lamps, and steel-pipe furniture that blur the line between function and art. With bold color and abstraction, he transforms traditional weaving into expressive, contemporary objects.

Anna Pelz
Anna Pelz (*1997) studied TransArts in Vienna and works across painting, sculpture, photography, and text. Using materials like textiles, glitter, and ceramics, she explores themes such as transformation, escapism, and digital culture—blending personal emotion with social reflection.

Teresa Grandits
Teresa Grandits explores body politics and absence through poetic, ironic works. Influenced by her Austrian-Croatian background, her art reflects urban life and social narratives—offering a contemporary take on identity, language, and representation.

TALKS PROGRAM
At the IKEA Art Living Room, art isn’t just displayed – it’s discussed. Our talk series brings together artists, collectors, and creatives for conversations and personal insights.
Highlights include: Katrin-Sophie Batz in conversation with Alexandra Grubeck, sharing how she began collecting and her fascination with street art as a global-local phenomenon.
Artists Gilbert Bretterbauer and Teresa Grandits, also moderated by Alexandra Grubeck, offer two unique perspectives on textiles – a material deeply rooted in both tradition and contemporary artistic expression.
And don’t miss Will Ramsay, founder of the Affordable Art Fair, in conversation with Fair Director Tanya van Breda Vriesman as they share personal stories and reflections on Why affordable art? Why collecting? Why Vienna?
KIDS AND TEENS PROGRAM
Together with the Kunstforum Wien, we are offering a creative program for children and teenagers during the weekend of Affordable Art Fair Vienna.

Hosted in the Art & Fun Studio – sponsored and designed by IKEA – the workshop invites young visitors to explore art in a playful and hands-on way. The program is inspired by the current exhibition “Favorite Darkness” by Anton Corbijn, which features photographic portraits, music videos, album designs, and stage visuals—offering a fascinating glimpse into the work of one of the most influential artists of our time.
The workshop is free of charge and tailored for kids and teens, while parents are free to explore the fair at their own pace.
