ABOUT THE FAIR
What can I do at an Affordable Art Fair?
You can do anything: from strolling the fair’s aisles to picking up a new piece of art. There will be family-friendly workshops, evening events perfect for a date, and panel discussions on relevant topics in the art scene. We’ll also have places to sit down and take a break with some delicious food and drink.
What entertainment will there be?
There is never a dull moment at an Affordable Art Fair. We have a colourful programme in store including: a vernissage, party on Friday evening, children’s program, guided tours and lots of contemporary art. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed about the programme.
Will there be a guide or maps available?
Yes, there will be a printed exhibition guide and map that can be picked up on site or downloaded from our website beforehand so you can plan your visit.
Is there catering at the fair? Can I have lunch or dinner at the fair?
Yes, we have various delicious options for you to refresh and refuel at the fair.
Is there any area I can leave my coat and bag?
You can leave larger items of luggage, bags and coats in our cloakroom free of charge. Larger pieces of luggage, suitcases and trolleys may not be taken into the exhibition hall and must be left at the cloakroom.
Can I buy artwork?
Yes, absolutely! Transparency is important to Affordable Art Fair and so the prices are shown next to each work of art. Our goal is to provide you with a deeper understanding of the contemporary art market. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. We want everyone to experience the joy of collecting art. Feel free to take a work (or more) home with you!
Can I take my purchased work of art home with me straight away?
Yes, absolutely! We also have a wrapping station to protect your artwork on the way home. We can also arrange delivery with our shipping service and the artwork will be delivered directly to your doorstep.
I regret not buying a work of art. How can I find it again after the fair?
No problem! Simply send us an email and provide us with as many details as possible. If possible, describe the colour, size, style (e.g. abstract, still life), medium (e.g. painting, photography, sculpture), gallery name, or approximate gallery location. If you have a photo of the artwork, please attach it to the email to help us find it as quickly as possible.

Entry is possible until 30 minutes before the end of the fair.
TICKETS
Do children need a ticket?
No, children up to 16 years of age do not need a ticket, but must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
Are concessions available?
Yes, there are discounted tickets for students and people over 65. Please bring proof of concession with you to the fair.
Can I buy a ticket at the fair on the day of the event?
Yes, you can buy tickets at the box office.
Are tickets refundable?
No, unfortunately we cannot refund tickets for the fair.
THE VENUE

Is Affordable Art Fair Vienna step-free?
The entire MARX HALLE area is at ground level and step-free. The MARX HALLE is also equipped with step-free sanitary facilities. Mobility aids may be taken into the exhibition hall. Designated disabled parking spaces are located directly in front of the MARX HALLE in Karl-Farkas-Gasse. If you need additional help, please feel free to contact us.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
We love dogs, but unfortunately we can only allow service animals within the venue.
Will I be photographed or filmed during my visit?
All Affordable Art Fair events are photographed or filmed. This is common practice and helps us inspire future visitors to discover the joy of collecting art. Read our photography and filming guidelines for more information.

HOUSE RULES
Prohibited items
For safety reasons, when entering the event, our security staff may check your bags. Larger backpacks, suitcases, larger umbrellas, bicycles or other sports equipment (scooters, skateboards, etc.) and other dangerous items that could cause damage are not permitted in the exhibition hall. The house rules of the MARX HALLE apply. Dogs and other pets are not allowed (except service dogs).
Distribution of marketing material
