AN ART COLLECTOR’S DREAM
Become the art collector you’ve always wanted to be with original art by living artists. ARCHIBALD PRIZE | WORTHY PORTRAITURE
This year, we’re proud to be presenting the work of Sally Ryan (Hamley Studio of Fine Art) a three time Archibald Prize Finalist. Known for celebrating portrait painting and everyday Australians, the Archibald Prize plays an important part of our Australian Art Scene.
Dive into our Portraits by Sally Ryan booth and experience two of her prize-worthy artworks up close. You also have the chance to watch her artistry in action at our Classical Painting Stage, where she’ll be painting alongside fellow painters at Hamley Studio of Fine Art. Whether you’re an art connoisseur or curious visitor, it’s a rare opportunity to catch classical painting techniques in action at our fair.

Affordable Art Fair is committed to making collecting accessible, while championing original art by living artists. With price ranges from $100 to $10,000, you can explore a diverse selection of pieces by both emerging talents and established artists while at the fair. Plus keep a look out for our handy Under $1,000 and Under $500 stickers, which can be spotted throughout the fair!
CATCH JASON PARKER’S BOLD NEW MURAL
Kiwi artist Jason Parker will be bringing a unique rotating installation and a new mural to Affordable Art Fair Sydney this summer. On arrival to the fair, experience the cycle of creation, destruction, and renewal with a rotating installation transforming Carriageworks. BREAKFAST WITH THE EDITOR
Start your Friday morning with a delightful and inspiring breakfast hosted by Home Beautiful’s Editor in Chief, Elle Lovelock. Studio A
We are delighted to partner once again with our official Access Partner Studio A at our upcoming Sydney fair. The enterprise will present a beautiful curation of art with 100% of proceeds helping the organisation pave professional pathways for creatives with intellectual disabilities. Partnering with Affordable Art Fair gives Studio A’s artists the opportunity to meet face-to-face with buyers, receive valuable feedback and connect with the local art-loving community.
Boomalli
We are proud to partner with Boomalli for the second year in a row. Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative was established in 1987 and is Sydney’s only Aboriginal owned and run arts organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting NSW language group artists. Boomalli provides a safe space for our artists to exhibit, work and tell their stories through their art. A selection of Boomalli’s talented artists will be creating art live at the fair, don’t miss out on the opportunity to see their techniques in action.
GET INSPIRED BY A HAND PAINTED MURAL BY CREATURE CREATURE
Chanel Tang and Ambrose Rehorek will showcase their unique collaborative style, drawing from their Chinese and Czech backgrounds to create a mural full of vibrant contrasts and smooth fluidity. Known for their work on Melbourne’s city walls, including the NGV, and collaborations with big names like Adidas, AS Colour, Cotton On, and The New Yorker, Creature Creature’s artwork is an exciting addition to our Sydney fair. Their mural is proudly brought to you by Resene.
GET COZY WITH BED THREADS
We’re delighted to partner with Bed Threads, Australia’s premier bedding destination, known for its colour forward collection of luxurious and sustainably crafted bedding in pure linen and cotton. Nestled against the walls of our stunning new venue Carriageworks, the Bed Threads booth is the perfect place to find interior inspiration and fresh bedding to match your exciting new art finds.
WITHDRAW A CUSTOM ARTWORK AT AN ART ATM
Jackie Case is back in Sydney with her hot pink ATM. This interactive installation allows you to purchase a custom artwork, generated from prompts you submit via a novelty credit card. Withdraw a unique and personal memento.
GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH LIVE PAINTING IN POP-UP ARTIST STUDIOS
Our skilled Artists in Action provide you with the rare opportunity to take a glimpse in an artist’s studio during their creative process. As you wander the fair aisles, you’ll encounter our Artists in Action displaying a wide array of styles and techniques, from classical methods to painting with a palette knife. If you fall in love with one of their artworks, don’t forget to head over to their gallery’s stand to purchase one for yourself.
