Alongside our venue, the Metropolitan Pavilion, we’re committed to making your fair visit as safe as possible. We aim to deliver the art-filled and fun Affordable Art Fair NYC Spring experience you know and love, while maintaining compliance with the protocols and mandates of New York City and New York State health departments, the CDC, and the WHO, following their guidance on indoor gatherings. As we get nearer the fair and we have access to more information, our Safe Fair Policy will be updated accordingly.
In accordance with the Key to NYC, people 12 and older participating in the below public indoor activities are now required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Starting January 29, 2022, children ages 5 to 11 must also show proof of full vaccination.
There are multiple ways to show proof of vaccination:
1. A photo or hard copy of their CDC vaccination card
2. NYC COVID Safe App
3. New York State Excelsior App
4. Official vaccine record
5. A photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside the United States for one of the following vaccines: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac.
PLEASE NOTE: Masks are required throughout the duration of your visit at the Metropolitan Pavilion. We will have a fully functioning cafe and bar for this edition, so we do ask that you are conscious of when your mask is below your nose or mouth while actively eating or drinking.
Top things to know
Please make sure you have read and understood these measures before your visit. In the interest of everyone’s safety, ticket holders who don’t follow these guidelines or fail to present the required documents will unfortunately not be allowed into the fair.
Our safe fair policies
To make our fairs a safe event for everyone, we’re implementing the following safety measures onsite:

1. Entry requirements
NYC has discontinued the Key to NYC vaccination requirement as of March 7, 2022. We will be checking vaccines at the door and we strongly recommend wear a face mask or covering, although it is not required.

2. Cashless payment
To help with health and safety, we will only be accepting card and contactless payments throughout the fair.

3. Frequent health checks
Exhibitors and staff will be asked to show proof of vaccine and booster (if it’s that time already) to receive access to the venue. During the fair, we will continue to perform staff wellness checks including temperature checks and of course, any staff who are feeling unwell will be asked to stay at home.

4. Venue ventilation
The Metropolitan Pavilion’s HVAC system is equipped with MERV filters rated to prevent the spread of bacteria and droplet nuclei.

5. On-site food and beverages
We will have a fully functioning cafe and bar for this edition. We do ask that you are conscious of when your mask is below your nose or mouth while actively eating or drinking.
Important notice re COVID-19: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event. Affordable Art Fair LLC and Ramsay Fairs is not responsible for the health and safety of this event. We encourage you to follow our safety policies, as well as local laws and restrictions.
