Cocktail Bar by Compagnia dei Caraibi

Gin Mare and Rum Diplomatico collaborate for the first time at Affordable Art Fair Milan, creating a unique cocktail bar. Serving excellent cocktails, from classic aperitivos to unique mixtures that will delight your palette and your visit to the fair.

If you are a self-confessed foodie, you will want to book the Art to Date night, as the ticket also includes an aperitivo!

Gin Mare was created in the heart of the Mediterranean, in an ancient village between the Costa Brava and Costa Dorada, with the craftsmanship and care typical of this region. Gin Mare was designed with the singular intent to create a truly exceptional gin, with the upmost care paid to the selection of the highest quality ingredients, such as barley, citrus fruits and botanicals, which are then expertly mixed by hand, and passed through the careful distillation process, in order to preserve the recognisable character of each ingredient in the taste of the finished product. Gin Mare is an authentic gin of the Mediterranean, providing a new reference point in the premium gin category and characterised by the tastes of the region such as Arbequina olives, basil, thyme and rosemary.

Art Sweet Corner - Pastry is an art

At the fair, Italian master pastry chef Salvatore De Riso, of Sal De Riso, will be presenting the authentic flavours of his beloved Amalfi Coast. A true ambassador to the region, Salvatore will create a series of limited edition gourmet delicacies using classic ingredients from the area.

Over the years Salvatore has focussed on creating award-winning desserts that innovate tradition and enhance the authentic taste of his certified, top-quality ingredients. In 2000 he opened the iconic 'Pasticceria De Riso' on the seafront of Minori, which soon became one of the most famous patisseries in Italy, and the world. The well-known pastry chef, who is one of the World Pastry Stars 2016 - awarded to the 10 best confectioners in the world - also boasts the title of Master AMPI (Accademia Maestru Pasticceri Italiani), the authoritative association that includes the best confectioners in Italy.
