For this week’s #WorkInProgress we’re spotlighting Ana Ortiz (@anaortiz.fineart ), represented by @thehuntergallery

Ana is a mixed-media artist working with resin, inks, sand and shells to create beautiful contemporary pieces. Originally from Madrid, she now lives and works in the UK, drawing inspiration from her travels and her background in Technical Architecture and Building Engineering.

Her work captures landscapes from aerial views, zooms in on intricate details, and plays with light and colour in really interesting ways. Whether it’s the gorgeous blues of the Balearics or the rugged Devon coastline, Ana shows both how stunning and how fragile our coasts really are. 🌊
