Our safe fair policies
To make our fairs a safe event for everyone, we’re implementing the following safety measures:
1. 2G Entry requirements
The 2G rule applies at the fair, and it is mandatory to show a proof of COVID-19 vaccination or recovery at the entrance. In the entrance area it is mandatory to wear a face mask and keep 1.5m distance. Inside the hall the 2G rule applies and wearing a face mask is no longer mandatory. Children and young people under the age of 18 are exempt from these rules and can enter the hall without a 2G proof.
2. Timed ticketing
Capacity will be limited to support social distancing. Visitors should book a timeslot to enter the fair and tickets should be booked online in advance. At-the-door ticketing sales may not be available if all timeslots are sold. So we highly recommend to buy your tickets online in advance to avoid long waiting lines at the two box offices!
3. Socially distanced fair
When arriving at the fair, there will be a clearly marked queuing system to enter. In the entrance area it is still mandatory to wear a face mask and keep 1.5m distance. Only inside the hall the 2G rule applies.
4. Cashless payment
We recommend card and contactless payment throughout the fair.
5. Health and safety measures
To help keep visitors, exhibitors and staff safe, we’re following protocols laid out by the Hamburg Government. From face mask recommendation, to providing hand sanitiser and increased cleaning of the restrooms and other high use areas; you can be confident that the fair is a safe environment.
