We are pleased to announce the 10th edition of the Affordable Art Fair Brussels, featuring the Young Talents programme 2018, curated by La peau de l’ours (LPDO), a community of art influencers. If you are a young or emerging Belgian artist, apply using the link above to be in with a chance to display your work to more than 17,600 art lovers, collectors and critics, art press, and over 96 national and international galleries at the wonderful Tour & Taxis exhibition centre.
The annual Young Talents programme is designed to showcase and support the work of young contemporary artists, or those just starting their artistic careers. The programme aims to highlight and reflect the practices and challenges that young and emerging artists face in the art industry today. By supporting and encouraging young talent, we facilitate new opportunities to help them to progress in the world of art in order to reach their full potential.
During the five-day fair, the Affordable Art Fair will act as a gallery for the shortlisted artists, providing them with a booth and the unique experience of exhibiting their work at an international art hub. In addition to exposure to 17,600 visiting art lovers looking to make their next art purchase, all fair visitors will be able to vote for the young artist that they think should win the Young Talents Award 2018.
