Will there be a cloakroom to store baggage, coats etc at the fair?
Yes, a cloakroom is available at the entrance to the fair. The price is €2 per item and card payments are preferred.
Does the fair offer a free on-site wrapping service for purchased artworks?
Yes, we offer a free on-site wrapping service for all your purchased artworks. Please view the Fair Floorplan for the location of the Wrapping Desk.
Are the activities (workshop/kids activity) free-of-charge?
Yes they are completely free. In order to secure a spot for Veerle Symoens’ workshop, please make sure to book your spot at her stand.
Will guided tours be taking place?
No, sadly due to social distancing we will not be operating guided tours during this edition.
Is Affordable Art Fair fully accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, Affordable Art Fair Brussels is fully accessible for to people with reduced mobility. We also have wheelchairs available on site.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to come and enjoy the art on show.
Is parking available at the fair? And what are the best ways to get the fair?
Yes, there is parking on site at Tour & Taxis. You have a choice of supervised Outdoor Parking for €6 (card only) per day. You can find the entrance to the car park at Avenue du Port 88 – 1000 Brussels. Alternatively, there is underground parking for a fee of approximately €3 per hour. You can find the entrance to the underground parking at Avenue du Port 86C – 1000 Brussels. More info here.
Will fair guides and maps be available?
Yes, there will be a printed fair guide and map available to pick up onsite.
Is there catering at the fair? Can I have lunch or dinner at the fair?
Yes absolutely, we have different restaurant stands on-site with lots of delicious options so you can refresh and refuel at the fair. You’ll be able to find juices made by Bon and food by Ancho, Dim’s, g.spud, Lulu and Co. Food and beverages may only be consumed while seated.
Will the restrooms be open?
Yes, our restrooms will be open and we will be operating enhanced cleaning and providing hand sanitizer.
I saw a piece of art / an artist I liked at the fair, how can I find out who it / they were?
Fantastic! Please send us an email and send us as much detail as you can – if possible, describe the artwork colour, size, style (abstract, still life etc.), medium (painting, photograph, sculpture etc.), gallery name or the approximate location of the gallery. If you have a photo of the artwork please attach it to the email as this will speed up the process.
Will I be photographed or filmed during my visit?
Photography or filming takes place at all Affordable Art Fair events. It is common practice and helps us to inspire future visitors to discover the joy of collecting art. For more information on our Photography and Filming policy, click here.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
What social distancing and hygiene measures are you taking to make the fair safe?
Please pre-book a ticket online before coming to the fair. We will be operating an enhanced cleaning schedule along with providing hand sanitizers and face masks for fair visitors. Please visit our Safe Fair Page for more information.
Will I need to show a proof of vaccination or a proof of a negative COVID-19 test?
To access the fair you will be asked to show your covid safe ticket and your ID card. Read more about this in our Safe Fair Page.
Will I need to wear a face mask?
No, you won’t have to wear a mask inside the fair but you are welcome to wear one if that makes you feel more comfortable.
If I feel unwell on the day my ticket is booked, what should I do?
Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell and, if possible, contact email@example.com to let us know you won’t be able to make it so that we can offer your space at the fair to another art lover.

Have the opening hours changed?
Yes, we have extended hours to help with social distancing. Our extended hours are as follows:
Wednesday 22 September, Vernissage (Invite Only), 18:00 – 22:00
Thursday 23 September, 12:00 – 22:00
Friday 24 September, 11:00 – 19:00
Saturday 25 September, 10:00 – 19:00
Saturday 25 September, Family Preview, 10:00 – 11:00
Sunday 26 September, 11:00 – 19:00
Why do I need to book a timed arrival ticket?
Timed arrival tickets allow us to monitor the number of people in the fair and offer a safe, socially distanced experience to visitors.
How do timed arrival tickets work?
– Choose the date and time to suit you when purchasing your ticket.
– Arrive anytime during the 1 hour time slot shown on your ticket. This time slot only limits your arrival time, not the duration of your visit to the fair.
– Show your ticket on arrival – either printed or on your phone, this will be scanned by our staff at the entry.
How far in advance do I need to buy tickets?
With limited capacity, in order to secure the date / time you want, we suggest you book your tickets as soon as possible.
Do children under 16 need a ticket?
Yes, children 16 and younger also need a ticket to enter. The ticket for under 16 year old’s is free.
Can I buy a timed concession ticket?
Yes, there are discounted tickets available. Concession tickets are available for over 60s, full time students, and those in receipt of jobseekers allowance or income support. Please bring proof of concession status with you to the fair.
The time slot I want is sold out. Do you have a waiting list?
While we would love to accommodate everyone’s ideal date and time, in order to create a socially safe environment at the fair with reduced capacity, we are not able to offer a waiting list.
Is my ticket refundable?
No, unfortunately tickets to the fair are not refundable.
How can I retrieve lost tickets for Affordable Art Fair?
The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation; tickets are usually attached as a PDF file which you can print and bring to the fair or show on your smartphone.
I have a ticket to the 2020 Brussels fair which is valid for the 2021 fair, how do I get my timed ticket?
We have sent you an email on the 19th or 20th of August which included a link to our ticket shop and your personal code to book your time slot. If you cannot find this email in your inbox (please check your spam folder) then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
