ENTRANCE SCULPTURE
The very first artwork greeting visitors at Affordable Art Fair Berlin 2025 will be an impressive entrance sculpture by Hamburg-based artist Darko C. Nikolić. Positioned just outside the venue, this work sets the tone for the fair, drawing audiences into a world where rhythm, structure, and vibrant colour guide the experience. Crafted from materials such as steel, wood, and plastics, Darkos large-scale sculptures or installations are both visually striking and conceptually open — offering each viewer a unique entry point into the fair and into the language of form itself.

EMERGING ARTISTS
The annual Emerging Artists exhibition at Affordable Art Fair has given a curated platform to new talents who haven’t been represented by a gallery at the time. Looking back at the last 12 years of this exhibition series at the Fair in Hamburg, the visibility generated by the Emerging Artist exhibitions has been integral in supporting and pushing artist’s careers within the difficult starting conditions of the art world.
The ‘Emerging Artists Berlin 2025’ exhibition will be curated by Fair Manager Hannah Weber-Heidenfels, showing the conceptual works of three artists which have their artistic focus in Berlin and Hamburg: Paula Hoffmann, Anne Meerpohl, Penny Monogiou. The exhibition will create a space of tranquility within the busy atmosphere at the fair and will give visitors the opportunity to reflect and to relate to the artworks themselves.

LATE VIEW
No fair would be complete without festivities! On Friday 13 June we will be open until 10pm with our Late View. Come along to enjoy a glass of wine, listen to the beats of DJ Levente and relax while browsing this year’s exhibition. This is the best time to visit the fair if you want to avoid prams and the weekend rush.

BADESCHIFF
This year we will include the famous Badeschiff with its outdoor pool and beach bar for two nights, for some crowded and vibrant summer evenings in Berlin. Join us on June 12 for our Vernissage and on 13 June for our Late View from 6pm until 10pm and enjoy a drink with us outside. After exploring a wide range of contemporary art you also have the possibility to enjoy a refreshing swim at the pool!

OPEN ART SPACE x MEETFRIDA
Just because you left the fair hall doesn’t mean you need to stop exploring: A virtual gallery by MeetFrida will turn the Badeschiff into an open-air art space. Via a QR-Code on the pink cube you will be able to enter the digital gallery with the help of your phone and discover the ultra contemporary works of MeetFrida artists from Berlin.

THE SKATEROOM x Art Unity Gallery
Since its foundation in 2014, THE SKATEROOM has collaborated with some of the world’s most influential artists to create art on skateboard decks with the aim of empowering international skate and education nonprofits and projects. Each sale contributes to funding NGOs such as 7Hills and Concrete Jungle Foundation. In 2024, THE SKATEROOM celebrated its 10th anniversary, having generated an impressive €1,700,000 in funding to drive social change.
At Affordable Art Fair Berlin, THE SKATEROOM will be presented by Art Unity Gallery (Belgium) at booth H3. On their stand, a 4-meter wall will be dedicated to showcasing a curated selection of THE SKATEROOM’s limited-edition skateboard artworks, highlighting the powerful mission behind the project.
In addition to this presentation, Art Unity Gallery will also feature works by three artists from their programme — Paolo Ceribelli, Jules Wittock and Didier Engels — whose practices are rooted in urban aesthetics and street art. Together, this stand creates a dynamic dialogue between contemporary art, design, and social responsibility.
SCULPTURE AREA
As an extra special this year, you have the chance to discover 15 different sculptures at our Sculpture Area. The presentation brings together a wide range of contemporary artworks, creating a dialogue between materiality, form, and context – offering a moment of pause and perspective within the vibrant energy of the fair.
