| SCULPTURE AREA

For our second edition of Affordable Art Fair Berlin, we’ve created a dedicated area to exclusively present a curated selection of sculptures: our Sculpture Area, located just to the right as you enter the fair. 🗿

The presentation brings together 15 contemporary works that explore material, form, and spatial context. This special feature invites visitors to pause, reflect, and experience sculptural art in a setting designed to offer both contrast and calm within the dynamic flow of the fair.

| EMERGING ARTIST EXHIBITION

On display in this year’s Emerging Artist exhibition are three distinctive artistic positions by Paula Hoffmann, Anne Meerpohl and Penny Monogiou – three female artists whose large-scale, conceptual works each create their own immersive spatial worlds.

@pennymonogiou fuses historical reference with personal narrative and critical theory. In her reworking of the Caryatids from the Temple of Athena, these ancient female figures reclaim agency, rest, and color – challenging dominant Western ideals of beauty and heritage. Monogiou’s practice reflects her multicultural identity shaped by Cyprus, Greece, and Germany. Her striking self-portrayals subvert classical ideals with power, softness, and complexity.

@ps.hoffmann explores the material and emotional dimensions of our built environment. Drawing from the aesthetics of construction sites, she reinterprets architectural elements through handcrafted translations, highlighting their poetic and mnemonic qualities. In her work, façades become metaphors for the psyche – surfaces that conceal and reveal at once. Her material-based approach dissects building norms and exposes the beauty of randomness in temporary material combinations.

@anne_mee paints visceral inner landscapes shaped by curiosity for what lies beneath our skin. Her organically formed canvases interact with fleshy tones and flowing contours to evoke a world both intimate and unfamiliar. Her works reflect on the invisible labor of the body – especially organs like the kidney or liver – while offering a feminist and political perspective on care, vulnerability, and resistance to aesthetic norms.
