The play of transparency and reflection of Pedro Correa's Wooden Cab creates a beautiful and subtle photography. The whole is bought together by the the complementary of the interior bown leather chairs and exterior yellow New York cab and taxi sign.
Pedro lives and works in Brussels, and is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts Brussels. Pedro's photographs are influenced by Impressionism - his work aims at embedding the emotions of painting into the ‘decisive moment’ of photography. His photographs revolve around the intimate beauty that he sees in cities. Pedro captures elements that often go unnoticed by giving them a different perspective, but without modifying reality. His personal lens reveals the poetry within reality. His work is represented by several galleries in Hong Kong, Washington, New York, Brussels and London.
