For our #artworkoftheweek, we’re shining the spotlight on ‘Lush Hampstead’ by Lebanese artist Ali Mourabet, represented by No Naked Walls ✨⁠

Ali Mourabet`s captivating paintings are characterised by their strikingly vibrant colour palette. His diverse body of work ranges from architectural forms to scenes depicting everyday life, including his immediate surroundings and, in this instance, our picturesque stomping ground, Hampstead Heath!⁠

Mourabet aims to evoke in viewers the same sense of peace and nostalgia he experiences while painting - his use of saturated colours evoking a feeling of positivity. 🎨⁠

Tess Chodan painstakingly restores sustainably-sourced insects and antiques from historical collections, which are anywhere from 40 to 130 years old! Once restored, she pairs them with antique objects and textiles, breathing new life into these special pieces in the form of original artworks....⁠

Chodan`s work celebrates the tradition of collecting, reflecting on memory and preservation, fragility and time, all inspired by a deep connection with the natural world. 🦋 ⁠

From the sun-soaked south of France, we extend a warm welcome to Bear Galerie as they make their debut at Affordable Art Fair Hampstead!⁠

Bear Galerie has been established for over 13 years, initially in the south of France in Uzès and, since last year, also in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. At the fair, they’ll showcase a diverse range of both French and international artists, including the emerging young artist Pitu and her father Max Rovira, a well-established artist influencing the French raw art movement.⁠
