Meet the Australia team
With creative minds and a wealth of experience, get to know the team behind Affordable Art Fair Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

It’s time to introduce our fabulous team in Australia!
It’s an exciting time in Australia, with hugely successful fairs taking place each year in Melbourne, Sydney, and more recently, Brisbane. The team are constantly busy with planning and production, putting their heads together to inspire more people to discover the joy of collecting art. Get to know them better, including their highlights of fair week, and learn more about how we bring these art-filled events to life.
Stephanie Kelly Gordine
Stephanie Kelly Gordine is the Asia Pacific MD. She actually bought her very first artwork at Affordable Art Fair in London!
“In 2012 I was planning my wedding remotely from Hong Kong and I saw Affordable Art Fair was launching. I sent an email to ask about wedding registries as we wanted art rather than another toaster. With a background in marketing, I also suggested I was happy to help with the launch. I ended up landing my dream job and finding an incredible artwork (as well as getting hitched, of course)”.
In 2019, Stephanie moved to Australia to launch Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne. She is delighted to now bring the fair magic to Sydney and Brisbane each year too.
Stephanie is creative leader, culture vulture and numbers nerd with 20 years experience in building brands. She began her career in healthcare marketing in New Zealand and the UK before moving to Asia to venture into the world of arts and events. Stephanie now lives in Sydney with her husband and three children.

“My happy place at the fair is the exit. I love seeing the smiling faces leaving, some with an artwork under their arm and then laughing when they try and fit it into their cars.”
Georgia Huestis
Georgia Huestis is our Fair Director and a former Affordable Art Fair exhibitor. Prior to joining the team, Georgia was the director of a commercial gallery in London and enjoyed travel between fairs in the UK, USA and Asia.
“I found jet-setting between art fairs a total thrill. Reconnecting with art lovers in each city and matching collectors with new artworks forever remains a highlight. When the opportunity to help launch the Affordable Art Fair in my hometown of Melbourne arose, I couldn’t resist. Each Affordable Art Fair brings with it a new flair and each of our editions has its own feel.’
Georgia completed her Creative Arts studies at the University of Melbourne and has worked in the secondary art market and at Australia’s Centre for the Moving Image. When Georgia isn’t surrounding herself with art, she’ll be found enjoying time with her young family.

Joanne Barby
Joanne Barby is our Gallery Relations Manager and a former Affordable Art Fair artist and exhibitor. Before joining the team, Joanne managed a commercial gallery that exhibited at many of our fairs across the APAC region.
“I genuinely believe in what we do at the Affordable Art Fair. Making art accessible and unintimidating is something I’m really proud to be part of. It’s a true win‑win: artists get to make a living doing what they love, galleries grow their audiences and collectors enjoy a beautiful experience that helps make their house a home.”
Joanne brings a strong background in sales, customer care and curation, with a natural ability to help galleries present work in visually compelling and welcoming ways. Since joining the team, she has thoroughly enjoyed supporting galleries and artists as they enter the fair and continue their success across multiple editions. She is especially proud of the strong sense of community she helps foster onsite and creating fairs where people feel welcomed, inspired and excited to purchase.
Originally from the country and now living in Sydney, Joanne continues to pour her passion for art, people and creativity into each fair, making the experience memorable for artists, galleries and visitors alike.

Nikki Berriman
Nikki Berriman is our Fair Manager and was instrumental in launching Affordable Art Fair in her home city of Brisbane in 2024. She made the leap to Queensland with her husband and two little ones in 2022, embracing Brisbane and its unique creative energy.
An experienced arts administrator with an Honours degree in Fine Art, she has worked at renowned contemporary art galleries, such as STATION Gallery in Australia and Goodman Gallery in South Africa.
“I love watching the fairs come to life from behind the scenes – from the first rough floor plans to the electric buzz of install day. There’s a special kind of magic in seeing an empty space transform into a vibrant celebration of art and creativity.”

Anna Coyne
Anna is our Marketing Manager, bringing experience across both client-side and agency roles within the entertainment and tourism space. She’s worked on campaigns for some of Australia’s leading live entertainment brands and loves finding creative ways to connect audiences with culture and experiences.
Originally from Brisbane, Anna made the move to Melbourne in 2024 – and while the weather took a little getting used to, she’s been thrilled to immerse herself in Melbourne’s vibrant arts scene.
“I love being able to see behind the scenes of the full fair journey – from those early strategy and planning stages, right through to standing at the front door when the fair is on and watching hundreds of people walk in, smiling, excited, and ready to discover art. That moment where everything comes together and you can feel the energy in the room is so special.”

Paige Spurrell
Paige first joined the team as our Fair Coordinator before moving across into marketing. With a master’s degree in arts management and a passion for art history, Paige loves engaging new audiences with arts and culture. Outside of the fair, Paige loves spending time with friends, making her own clothes and going to galleries!

Ping Tan
Ping is our Fair Operations Executive. She holds an MA in Art History and Art-world Practice from Christie’s Education and the University of Glasgow, and first joined Affordable Art Fair as an intern in 2015 before happily returning to the team in 2023. Ping believes art is at its best when it feels personal and meaningful, and is passionate about fostering authentic connections between people and art. Outside the fair, she can often be found at the pottery wheel or deep in a Sudoku puzzle!

Sam Chong
Sam is our Fair Coordinator, beginning her journey as an intern in 2024 before joining the team full-time in 2026. With a background in arts and cultural management, she supports the delivery of our fairs, creating engaging experiences that connect artists, galleries, and audiences. She is particularly drawn to still life and the subtle beauty in everyday moments. She runs on music, a cup of matcha, and sunshine!

Thanks to the Australian fair team for sharing their thoughts! Do reach out to them if you have any questions about applying for our Aussie fairs.
