Olga Szczechowska, born 1987 in Radom, Poland, is a graduate of Painting and Cultural Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland); lives and works in Warsaw. Olga is mostly engaged in painting and illustration. She likes breaking the rules of proper reflecting of nature with the use of unexpected elements from another universe. Her works are minimalistic in their form, both simply elegant and gracefully colourful.
She is the author of the cover for the Polish cultural magazine Notes na 6 tygodni (#106 July-August-September 2016), she has published her illustrations in other magazines, like G’rls room, Kukbuk, Contemporary Lynx, Visegrad Insight.
Her scholarships include: 2014 Scholarship Mayor of Torun in the field of culture and 2013 Scholarship Mayor of Torun in the field of culture.
