Natalia Avdeeva is a contemporary Russian painter, originally from Siberia, working and living in London.
Avdeeva is an eclectic artist, who, working mostly in oils, uses a number of innovative techniques to present new and original observations from her surroundings. The artist carries strong backgrounds in painting and printmaking, and now centres a commitment to painting en plein air. Having founded Plein Air Contemporary in 2014, Avdeeva is prolific in promoting the cause of painting from life, and is adamant that this way of working pushes and challenges artists to work to their full potential. The artist is habitual in her development as a painter, creating large-scale mixed media pieces, as well as new inventions in front of the canvas.
Avdeeva has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Russia and the UK, and her works can be found in private collections around the world.
