Meaghan Ogilvie is a photographer and visual artist who is interested in the interaction between people and nature. Meaghan studied Applied Photography at Sheridan College in Ontario.
Since graduating Meaghan has taken on a number of residencies including Diatomée - Residency on board sailboat at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in 2018. Along with the residencies, Meaghan has also exhibited a number of solo and group exhibitions such as Sacred Water Walks, Video, Permanent installation, Art Gallery of Ontario in 2018 and Diatomée, Festival L’Homme et La Mer, Guilvinec, France in 2019.
Meaghan's work often depicts images of landscapes and seascapes with human interaction inviting the viewer to take ownership of there own role in interacting with nature. This practice is driven by Meaghan's aims to travel to remote areas spreading a greater understanding and awareness for our responsibility to look after the planet.
