Len Klikunas was born in 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. Klikunas constructs altered three-dimensional canvases and paints them to modify experienced reality through visual perception. Len trained while studying his BA at Stanford University and went on to study a MA at California State University graduating in 1970.
His work is characterized by “mindful artlessness” and simplicity and is understated and subtle. He has exhibited his works widely through the United States including a a Solo exhibition with Lacy Lines, The District, Boise, Idaho and a number of group exhibitions such as Binary Response, Artspace Warehouse, Los Angeles, CA and After Dark: A Duality, Nampa Civic Center, Nampa, ID in 2019.
