Abstract
Abstract

Laura’s work investigates the correlation between Contemporary Art practice, Nature and Science, specifically among the different species of Morpho butterflies and birds of the rain forest and their colours interdependence related to the blue light, and bioluminiscence. The centre of her work is the action, fragmented, dissolved into abstraction and the study of colour related to the movement contemplated as abstract decomposition, whose primary matrix is colour. The generative force of abstraction is explored in the form of multimedia painting and installation. Integrating acrylic mediums with the use of led light and aiming to challenge the boundaries of painting in a notion of installation that becomes more a living experience work, in a search for a balance in the composition that aims to prove a subjective relationship with the viewer and becomes itself experience rather than an object.
