Jim Cooke, born in 1951, is a British fine art photographer. He studied Fine Art (BA Hons) at Sheffield Polytechnic before completing an MA in Narrative Illustration and Editorial Design at the University of Brighton, where he went on to teach Photography from 1995-2017.
Jim has work in numerous prestigious collections around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum (London, UK) and Portland Art Museum (USA). He has won several awards from the British Council and Arts Council England and, from 2004-2005, was an Artist in Residence at British Engineerium in Hove.
Jim works and lives in Brighton with his wife, Miguel.
