A fine arts major, Dyn (Safaruddin) obtained a Diploma from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts, Bachelor’s Degree from RMIT and a Master’s Degree from Open University. He has exhibited in solo exhibitions, Dress Up (2017), The Ghost And The Shell (2015), Everyday Heroes (2014), After All These Years (2013), All That’s Left Has Gone To Sleep (2012) and Traces (2011) at Chan Hampe Gallery, Playtime at Karin Weber Gallery Hong Kong (2010), Compiled Fragments at the Plastique Kinetic Worms exhibition space (2006) and Cat and the City at Utterly Art (2005). Dyn's diverse collaborations in group exhibitions include BIG SMALL SHOW – ART JAM at the Art Seasons Gallery (2003), Vision & Illusions: Reconstruction of a City, an exhibition of site specific installation artworks at St. James Power Station (2004), Urbanonurban at LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts (2005), Surface of Temporary Autonomy, at Alliance Francaise De Singapour (2006) and Singapore Democratic Art at IKEA Singapore (2008). He is a recipient of the Winston Oh Travel Scholarship in 2002 and 2004 and was also awarded The Della Butcher Award (Certificate of Merit) in 2003.
