She is also a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and exhibits annually with the Society at Westminster, London, and every two years at Palmengarten, Frankfurt, Germany. Denise's botanical art has also been widely appreciated in the US, where her works are collected by prestigious societies and exhibitions.
Artist's statement: “My aim in painting is to convey the beauty and mystery which is at the heart of nature, moving beyond a mere plant portrait towards trying to convey the depth which I feel lies beneath.”
